Winifred Holtby School Technology College is an 11-16 secondary school accommodating 1450 students.

As a school we strive to bring out the best in our students as every child matters.  We are determined that no child should be left behind as we provide a learning culture in which all students can flourish and achieve their potential.

Over the last 5 years results in 5 A*-C including English and maths and 5 A*-C have significantly improved.  Indeed, in 2008 the school was recognised by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as one of the most improved schools in England, an accolade that we are very proud of.  In addition to this in 2008 Ofsted commented that our teaching was good with outstanding elements.
As a school community we are ambitious and as well as continuing to improve our exam results we also strive to become outstanding in all areas of education.
